For this fourth MobileMonday Belfast event, we are pleased to bring you three expert speakers with experience with the Mobile Internet from the software and service sides.

Our presenters are from mobile web developer Nubiq, the TLD promoter for mobile sites dotMobi and Belfast-based (and Redwood City_CA, USA) mobile Internet applications innovator Openwave.

Our new venue is the Ormeau Baths Gallery, Belfast's Contemporary Art Gallery,www.ormeaubaths.co.uk/ located at 18a Ormeau Avenue (almost across from Katy Dalys bar). Cheap off-street car parking is available for £1 per hour between 5pm and 6pm (free afterwards) or at the car park next to the Fire Station (100m) for also £1 from 4pm, valid until the next morning as you pay when you enter.

For this third and last MobileMonday Belfast event before the Summer break (we'll be back on 1 September), we are pleased to bring you three expert speakers with differing experiences in developing and marketing mobile applications to the 'Enterprise' (large and small) segment.

Our selection of presenters cover perspectives from both application developers - Dublin-based Advanced Field Solutions and Belfast-based Consilium Technologies / TotalMobile - and mobile operator with Vodafone.

Summary

The second MobileMonday Belfast event, on the topic of Mobile Web Services - leveraging web services technology in the mobile environment, drew a good crowd of professionals who had opportunities to ask burning questions to three expert professionals from Iona, Microsoft and Aepona. The experts shared their experiences on exposing, orchestrating and consuming mobile web services. Delegates networked over refreshments before the presentations and some retired to the bar afterwards for further discussions.
