Mobile Summer

Summer is finally here (it's baking hot in Belfast and we love it!). Thank you to our three sponsors  (see right hand side column on this page) who helped us close off the Spring 2009 season in style with a networking Barbecue at the Edge bar/pub/resto last Monday 15th June.

We're now working on the Autumn programme since we have been promised funding by Invest NI (thank you to support us in this voluntary initiative). We will be liaising with our brethren in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Milan, Paris and Munich to establish speaker swap opportunities for the smaller of yous. If you have any ideas or special wishes for topics in Aug.-Dec. let us know!

Enjoy your Summer holidays! Colm, James & Norbert

Mobile Marketing & Advertising
Our May 2009 event on Mobile Marketing & Advertising was a big success (over 50 attendees) with great presentations from BlueAge Media, Puca and SalesOnline.ie, lots of pertinent questions from the audience.

Mobile Barbeque Sponsors

MobileMonday Belfast is kindly sponsored by the following companies:

Aepona provides software solutions to Telcos globally, allowing them to securely publish their network capabilities - communications, information and intelligence - to the outside world as standards-based Web Services. This enables 3rd party developers to quickly and easily create new applications that can be delivered through the Telco channel, leveraging the power of the mobile network. Aepona is providing the technology for the GSM Association’s OneAPI program, that aims to provide common cross-operator APIs in order to make it easier for developers to deploy their applications across multiple networks.

Openwave is one of the world's leading innovators of software applications and infrastructure for mobile and broadband operators designed to streamline costs and enable revenue-generating, personalized services, including mobile analytics, mobile access, content adaption, targeted mobile and broadband advertising, and a suite of unified messaging solutions.

Belfast-based Yellow Design have built up a strong reputation within the telco sector for delivering high-end branding and digital media services. With a track record spanning over 10 years, Yellow Design have been recognised for their innovative approach and have recently been contracted with Zeemote and EA Games for the branding and deployment of the JS1 bluetooth joystick (unique accessory in the market for mobile gamers).

Organisers

Belfast-based Software company Anaeko and Technology Marketing consultants Sagnard Marketing Associates are passionate about organising MobileMonday Belfast on a voluntary, unpaid basis, but are fully dependent on the support from sponsors to offer free networking events 10 times a year to the local mobile technology community. They were joined in May 2009 by James Scott, famous owner manager of www.NITechBlog.com !
